This is a 1-525 Archaeology guide. Archaeology is the newest profession released with Cataclysm. It is technically a secondary skill that everyone can level up and train in addition to their two chosen professions (just like fishing, cooking, and first aid).
Leveling Archaeology is a bit different than other professions. Once you train it you will be able to see digsites on your main map. Once you arrive at a digsite you can then Survey and collect fragments and eventually Solve the artifact.
You need to be at least level 20 to train Archaeology.
Go to digsites and simply use your Survey ability, don't Solve anything.
Begin using Solve to complete artifacts. You will still need to collect fragments to do this although you won't level with your Survey ability anymore.
If you are looking to level up your goblin fast when Cataclysm comes out look no further. This leveling guide is designed specifically for goblins and helps you navigate through the busy and somewhat confusing goblin starting area.
I've personally ran through the guide with a goblin and can say that it does indeed help you out a bit. While the starting area doesn't take that long to get through, I know that when Cataclysm is released it's going to be really important to know where to go because the starting areas are going to annoyingly full of players.
If you are looking to get to 85 first with your goblin, or to even just get a head start on other players in heriocs and raiding you need to use something like this for your maximum benefit!

Hayden Hawke has released a brand new gold guide for Cataclysm. I've had a chance to look over this guide and as far as I can tell it's going to be a lifesaver for many people once Cataclysm is released.
The guide is completely written for Cataclysm. Hayden has been playing in the beta and has developed a brand new strategy for making gold, one that when done properly virtually automates the gold making process.
If you aren't into that kind of thing, there are still plenty of resources in the guide that will help you make gold in Cataclysm using conventional methods like farming ore, cloth, herbs, meats, etc.
This guide is essential for anyone looking to make gold once Cataclysm is released. By having this guide you will know exactly what to buy and sell at a time when many people will have no idea what to do!

First Aid is really easy to level up, just get some cloth and begin crafting. Here is a route that will take you to 525 very quickly. I have an estimated amount of mats listed but please don't take it exactly, it is just a general estimate. Also, since buying cloth will save you time I recommend it, if you can't afford it you should really look at this gold guide.
All the bandages in the guide below are trained by the First Aid Trainer.
Linen Bandage - 50 Linen Cloth
Heavy Linen Bandage - 120 Linen Cloth
Wool Bandage - 55 Wool Cloth
Heavy Wool Bandage - 110 Wool Cloth
Silk Bandage - 45 Silk Cloth
Heavy Silk Bandage - 80 Silk Cloth
Mageweave Bandage - 45 Mageweave Cloth
Heavy Mageweave Bandage - 54 Mageweave Cloth

It was recently announced that Hayden Hawke, the maker of the Secret Gold Guide, has created a brand new guide, this time a leveling guide. I've taken the opportunity to review this guide and will fill you in on what it is and why it's different from other leveling guides.
First off the guide is not a questing leveling guide and comes with no in-game addon. This might be a downer for some people out there but Hayden explains that these aren't the fastest way to level and you can always get free addons that do almost the same job as the leveling guides that come with them, and for FREE.
So now that you know the guide isn't an addon based questing guide I'll tell you what it is. The guide comes with AoE, solo, power leveling, and questing sections and you can basically pick which you use to get to 80, even mix and matching along the way. In addition to these sections there's a compilation of a bunch of really helpful information to prepare you for leveling.
All in all I think this guide is a breath of fresh air as it presents a unique and more importantly fun way to level to 80 fast.
